Babelgom has 3 key components:

1. Messaging Engine:
The infrastructure and software components to route, transform, monitor, notify and measure the flow of data in and out of your business. At the heart of the Babelgom messaging engine beats JBossTM, the leading open source Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) for transforming your business to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). It is designed to accommodate any level of volume activity via a combination of hosting arrangements, including Combell in Belgium and Amazon S3 and EC2 in the US.

2. Self-Service:
This is our web-based console for designing mapping and data transformation rules. Use this facility to securely manage authorisation access, set up individual hub parameters, handle exceptions, track messages and follow-up usage statistics. Graphical user interfaces rely on the most recent advances in Ajax/DHTML techniques for instantaneous response times. For an all-round, “feel-good” experience and maximum productivity for users.

3. Catalogue:
The channels between Babelgom and external applications created on a daily basis by Babelgom users wind up in the Babelgom Catalogue. This Catalogue is therefore an invaluable repository for users wanting to create new channels, saving weeks of information gathering and development efforts in the process. Catalogue postings and searches are strictly controlled to protect confidentiality of information. Quality of postings is managed centrally by Babelgom to ensure Catalogue value.
