Self-Service is the web-based console that controls and designs all aspects of your Babelgom messaging hub.

Self-Service allows you to assemble the Babelgom features you require. It enables you to provision your account with Babelgom and monitor all activity indicators. With Self-Service you define the reserved capacity and service level that best suits you. You can profile different users and their permission privileges. It holds the overview of all channels, whether in development or operational, and their associated activity. It can generate documentation of your settings in ready-to-use format for discussions with prospective data exchange partners.

You can export usage statistics for your internal analysis or for re-invoicing purposes.

From the Self-Service console you can temporarily shut the service for schedule downtime at an end application. Messages will safely accumulate until service is resumed.

Self-Service includes a design tool based on the latest standards including XSLT, XPath and XML Schema. The online mode is made user-friendly with Ajax/dHTML technologies.

Step-by-step wizards simplify and accelerate development time. The business service design function enables precision graphical drag-&-drop of data from the source format to the target format. It allows multiple data transformation operations (ie. concatenation, splitting, value replace, forced population, if/then conditions, date format converters). For more complex data manipulation, designers can create and load their own custom code as part of the transformation process.
The design interface provides a complete test and debug environment and generates automatic documentation for easy referencing and sharing.

As a designer of exchange flows using Babelgom, you are free to choose whether your individual design work is included in the Babelgom catalogue of business services.
